Interior of the Day
Just because you don’t have a lot of space doesn’t mean can’t have a lot of great design details! I love the pops of color, pattern and texture here and that makes this my interior of the day:

Loving this side table arrangement, via The Girls of Lincoln Park:

Burlap, or “hessian” outside the United States, is a woven fabric made from the skin of the jute plant and may be combined with other vegetable fibers…Hessian has been historically produced as a coarse fabric, but more recently it is being used in a refined state known simply as jute as an ecofriendly material for bags, rugs, and other products. Read more here.
I love seeing burlap in interior design and we can all feel good about this plant derived wonder material! Pair with other neutrals and light blue for a crisp cooling look and a natural feel!
I am loving everything about this little reading corner- the white floors (we already know I’m a sucker for white interiors!), the industrial table lamp, the brick wall with the Piet Hein Eek wood plank wallpaper covering just the perfect portion….genius.
(^stuck in my head for days! but anyway…)
Lighting is an often overlooked but important element to any room or space. Here at work I could use a desk lamp: (see Ikea)
And I just love these pendants: (See West Elm and cb2)

I think a pair of these West Elm industrial wall sconces would be perfect over my bed:
Hands down, industrial is my favorite lighting look right now. Stay bright my friends!
