After our Interior Finishes and Materials final exam yesterday, we walked over to the Herman Miller showroom at One Kearny and got a little history about the company and a look around their space on the 9th floor. We were also escorted up to the private 11th floor, which is a newly remodeled retreat or conference space rented out by the owner of the building and full of great Herman Miller pieces.
I’m really excited about Vitamin Green, a book about contemporary sustainable design and architecture from around the world, which I discovered over at Refinery 29, and out later this month. Here’s a peek at a couple of the projects inside:
