Love it. Spotted at Sf Girl By Bay.
This post is inspired by my wonderful aunt over in Denmark…one of the only toys I’ve kept from my childhood is a little stuffed doggie she made from black leather back when I was little and she had a shoe shop in Copenhagen. And then there was that pink knit pig that everyone in the family ended up with (not sure who made those, my grandma or my aunt- I know the original was by my grandma, but they started multiplying in the 90′s…) Anyway, point being, I really treasured those handmade items. Now on the island of Bornholm, my aunt is working with felt, so I thought I’d share some great applications of the handsome material…

Other West Elm Accessories
I love the feel and texture felt adds to a room or accessory. Hope this gives you guys some ideas or appreciation for this wonderful material xo, co
Still browsing little purchases to freshen up my apartment….here are my picks from CB2:
Linus Throw
Knitted Pouf in Graphite
The throw would bring out the gold in my art work and hardware while the pouf would provide an extra seat for guests or a nice place to relax my feet after work.
I have been searching high and low for the perfect black bag (unlike my dresses, I like my bags big!)…. and I finally found it in J.Crew’s Brompton Hobo.
From work, to working out, long nights at school to nights on the town…we are gonna be best friends, me and Brompton. Lots of room for whatever, sophisticated touches and handles + a cross body strap are a must… xo
Nooks…magical little spaces where we can sit/hide/lay/sleep/work so safely and securely, our imaginations are freer than ever to soar. As a small space dweller and planner, these spaces are win, win in my book- evoking good feelings and making very efficient use of space….
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend, and is feeling rested and ready for Monday. I’m winding down Sunday night with dinner, a movie and laundry (!) at home.
I love being home and it’s where I find myself remembering to slow down and appreciate the little things most. Here are a couple little, inexpensive things around my apartment right now that put a smile on my face:
Cups from Lavish (Large, $13; Small, $9). Target Home Candle (this scent is so pleasant!). Vanilla my mom recently brought me back from Mexico. Single blossom stem.
