Dating an amazing [street, mural, portrait, canvas, tattoo, etc.] artist over the past few years has, of course, turned me on to some pretty awesome stuff. So when German graffiti artists Hera and Akut, aka Herakut, graced our very own SF neighborhood with a wall, I was personally escorted down Hemlock alley with a full art lesson and some interesting stories. Love the piece they did (my own photos, above) and their style in general (some other examples below).
