Hollywood Regency
by coco
I was in Hollywood for the weekend, and there was plenty of drama in the interiors (over sized objects, tons of velvet, tufted furniture, big headboards, chandeliers, playful color, etc., etc.) and glam to go around.
Hollywood Regency refers to “a style made popular in the movies in the 1930′s and 1940′s and was seen in the homes of many Hollywood actors. It takes furniture from the Georgian and Regency periods and mixes them in modern interiors.” (wiki.answers) Enjoy some of my favorite Hollywood Regency interiors from around the web.
